At KD Marine Design, we have the ability to 3D scan vessel’s piping systems with our Dot3D scanner and use the 3D point cloud output as a reference to accurately model the vessel’s pipe systems in ShipConstructor.
This enables us to rapidly model existing piping systems which can be used to assess and plan design changes in 3D before implementation on board.
