I own two of the Toro 22" with Kohler 6.75 159cc engine and one Toro 22" with Honda GCV 160 engine.

I like both a lot. I favor the Kohler more. I really like front wheel drive more.

With my harder environment they have also seen their fair amount of hard use (tall grass, stray wood chips, and pine cones).

I've since modified them to increase their usability and lifetime.

Let me know what you think, if you have questions, or any comments. I hope my simple modifications help someone else whom has the same problem. I'm also hoping Toro sees the problem and resolves it in future models. I love mowers they have been great.
