Ingredients :

2 cup lal rajma
2 tbsp chana dal (soak in hot water for 2 hrs)
3 onion
10 flakes garlic
1 1/2" ginger (paste)
2 1/2 tsp salt
300 gm tomato puree
1 cup cup curd beaten
7 to 8 tbsp oil
2 tbsp dhania pwd
1 tsp red chili pwd
1/2 tsp garam masala
5 laung
3 tbsp chopped coriander
1/4 tsp amchur ( optional)

Method :

1. Pressure cook soaked rajma with ginger, garlic and onion paste. Add salt and 8-10 cups of water. Give one whistle.
2. Simmer the flame and cook for 1 hr. Heat oil in a pan, add laung, dhania pwd, chili pwd, tomato puree.
3. Cook till it is thick. Add beaten curd and stir continuously till the masala turns red again.
4. Add rajma. Mix it well and mash a little. Add rajma water and give 1 whistle in the cooker.
5. Simmer down the flame and cook for 10-15 mins. Add coriander, amchur and garam masala after removing from flame.
