Apologies. Poor pun indeed. Now we are at the last cut that I need to make with the jigsaw except maybe for a handle hole on the top step. Not sure about that as it will tend to weaken the step overall. After the cut I will ha w the two final steps. I will then round them off and cut the groove and or dado for the lower step and then I can do a dry assembly.
