Vietnam an absolute marvel. Spending time in central Hanoi brought new perspectives and an appreciation for the deeply rooted culture found on every street. My friend Pete and I spent time immersed in the history, authentic foods, and incredible infrastructure of Vietnam. Our time was split between the bustle of the city streets, and an outstanding trip through Lan Ha Bay. Our time on Cat Ba island complimented the rural areas earlier traveled as we explored its beauty. Departing from its piers Pete and I met nomads alike and kayaked amongst the bay’s scattered islands. Our hosts were exceptionally knowledgeable and left everything on the table to give us and our new friends an extraordinary experience.
