A cold storage is a large refrigerated room or building, which is designed for the storage of goods in an environment below the outdoor temperature. Products which need refrigeration include meat, fruits, vegetables, seafood, etc. whereas cold chain denotes the series of action and equipment applied to maintain a product within a low temperature from harvest to consumption.
