This is what the new Erasmo Iacovone stadium will look like after the renovation for the Mediterranean Games. During the works, which will start in November 2024 and will last 18 months, Taranto will be able to play regularly in its facility, but in front of a maximum of 4,000 spectators.

This was announced by Massimo Ferrarese, commissioner of the 2026 Mediterranean Games, after a meeting with Rinaldo Melucci, mayor of Taranto, and Nepi Molineris, CEO of Sport and Health, the state body in charge of drafting the renovation project of the Iacovone stadium.
