Just over seven years ago, Johor’s football scene was a complete train wreck, with
corruption, mismanagement and poor attendance destroying the club. But the ‘Boys of
Straits’ rallied behind the badge and convinced the Crown Prince of Johor to step in and
revolutionise the team. The rest, as they say, is history.

Six consecutive league titles, the first Southeast Asian side to win the AFC Cup, the first
Malaysian side to compete in the AFC Champions League and a brand new world class
football stadium.

This is the story of Johor Darul Ta’zim.
