I sold my first house within my first week of having my License. It was not as easy as it sounds!

It was a very intense process from start to finish. Selling my first house within 4 days of getting my licence.

I didn't even make it to my first ever open home!

What I learned was:

1. you need to have educated yourself fully around the house you are selling

2. prepare some meals in advance and snacks as well because you won't have enough time in the day to cook or go buy food. Have it ready to go!

3. Make sure that you have a support network and a direct contact with someone in your agency who can help you answer any questions and help you do things you are not sure about. It will be hard and you will be confused, but that's okay! It's better to do things right than to potentially damage your reputation or the reputation of your agency.

4. set boundaries and make sure that you don't go out of your way for every single buyer. people will want you to jump but it doesn't mean you have to do it. take time for yourself and to relax. you will need it.

5. it's very hard to do other things while you are selling a property. it takes up most of your day. it will be hard to do another job so keep that in mind.
