I will have to say that this project turned out really well! This is my first ever time to build a hinged floating mantel. My clients wanted to use the Samsung portrait TV to hang on the beautiful ship lap fireplace we built. To do that, it needs a place to hide the external hard drive. I did quite a bit of thinking and came up with this solution. Now we can hide and access the hard drive when needed and nobody will know the wiser!
