Welcome to my channel! This is Andy from I love languages. Let's learn different languages/dialects together.

Indonesian, the official and national language of Indonesia, is a standardized variety of Malay and has long served as a lingua franca in the multilingual Indonesian archipelago. Indonesia, the fourth most populous country globally, has over 279 million people, the majority of whom speak Indonesian, making it one of the world's most widely spoken languages.

Acehnese is an Austronesian language spoken by the Acehnese people in Aceh, Sumatra, Indonesia. It's also spoken by Acehnese descendants in parts of Malaysia like Yan, Kedah. It's co-official in Aceh alongside Indonesian and belongs to the Malayo-Polynesian branch of Austronesian, with its closest relatives being other Chamic languages spoken in Vietnam and Cambodia.

This video is created for educational, language awareness, and language preservation purposes.
