This video was taken as I took off from the Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport in April 2015. As we take off, the Minneapolis–Saint Paul Joint Air Reserve Station is in clear view, as well as a few C-130 Hercules. Shortly after takeoff, the St. Paul skyline is briefly visible in the background, as we fly over the suburbs. Then, the Minneapolis skyline comes into full view, along with Interstate 35W and many of the surrounding lakes. As we continue to climb the southwestern suburbs and a variety of lakes continue to be visible. We then turned to the south and there continues to be a good view of the areas south and west of the city.
