Sylvana Simons, a Surinamese-born Dutch politician and former television presenter, gained prominence as a VJ for TMF, The Music Factory, in the late 1990s. In 1999, she conducted a notable interview with the popular boy band N Sync. After her time at TMF, Simons transitioned to reality television and later hosted shows at various networks. In 2016, she entered politics, initially joining the minority rights party DENK, but later forming her own party, BIJ1, focusing on anti-racism and equality.

NSYNC is an iconic American boy band formed in 1995, featuring members Chris Kirkpatrick, JC Chasez, Justin Timberlake, Lance Bass, and Joey Fatone. They gained fame with their debut album in Europe before hitting the U.S. with the hit single "I Want You Back". The group faced legal battles but soared with their record-breaking album "No Strings Attached" in 2000. Their albums achieved Diamond certification, and hits like "Girlfriend" and "It's Gonna Be Me" dominated charts. They collaborated with music legends and performed at major events. After a hiatus, Timberlake's departure led to a 2007 breakup. In 2023, they reunited for the song "Better Place" in the film "Trolls Band Together". With 70 million records sold, NSYNC remains a legendary boy band, celebrated for their instant success.
