Undervolting allows you to reduce heat output by your laptop, and also decrease throttling which results in increased performance. This results in not only a cooler laptop but also a quieter one.

This video will guide you on how to undervolt the CPU of your XPS 15 9560 (or for that matter, any Intel laptop), set Throttlestop to run on startup, and enable Intel Speedshift on 6th/+ gen CPUs where the manufacturer does not enable it (or you do not want to change the UEFI bit as possible on the XPS 15 9560).
