Author Douglas Murray says there is “nothing wrong” with being proud of your national flag.

UK Labour MP Jess Phillips posted a photo to X mocking a man wearing the St George's flag as a cape.

“There is this sort of snobbery about this,” Mr Murray told Sky News host Rita Panahi.

“It’s only in the West that we beat ourselves up like this and tolerate politicians who scorn the public for being proud of their country.”
