In this month’s episode of the Fly of the Month series, we’ll be tying the San Juan Worm. This fly was created on the San Juan River in New Mexico, and it has become a staple in many anglers’ fly boxes. They work especially well in high water, right after and during rainstorms, and during the winter.
And yes, they do count as fly fishing.
