7th annual Joan of Arc parade January 6, 2015, New Orleans, LA. The Krewe de Jeanne d'Arc celebrates the birthday of Joan of Arc, Twelfth Night, and New Orleans' French heritage with a medieval-style parade telling the story of Joan's life from childhood to battle and victory, through her corrupt trial, burning at the stake and sainthood. A classic New Orleans mix of whimsy and reverence, sacred and satire. Performance groups include Muff-a-lottas as burning flames, Skinz-N-Bonez as judges/death, and the Chorus Girl Project as Saint Joan and her angel chorus.
