Here are some Lego "booby traps", like you might see in ancient ruins and temples in the movies, or video games. Saw blades and falling boulders and so on. The standard 'you - the player - pull out the bar to activate the trapdoor' style is too limited, so each of these "traps" are designed so that a mini-fig could activate it (by stepping on a floor plate or pushing open a door or something).
