If you watched my short video from a few days ago you'll have seen Lola Malubay, a 79 year old grandmother who was selling peanuts in front of her home for 10 pesos or $0.20.

It was also Lola's birthday and many followers commented and messaged me that they wanted to send Lola a few dollars as a birthday present and to help out the family.

I started a GoFundMe for Lola with a goal of raising $250 and within 48 hours we had raised $3,500! We gave Lola her present and she said she's going to use the money to buy daily food for the family, start an emergency fund for healthcare, and expand their small family peanut store into a full sized Sari-Sari store with a variety of products!
