Despite the fact that the car really looks very formidable, in reality everything is not as good as it seems at first glance. In the realities of combat, Jagdtiger World of Tanks is capable of a lot, but even knowing all its strengths, the gameplay is not so simple, since the vehicle also has enough weaknesses, as you can now see for yourself.
As in most cases, we will begin our acquaintance with the fact that this unit has a very impressive margin of safety, which will help you more than once in battle, in addition, the Jagdtiger has a field of view in its basic state of 390 meters, which is very worthy by the standards of the PT -SPG of our level.
If we talk about survival, then in our case everything is completely relative, and so that you can feel the contrast, let's start with the bad. The point is that the Jagdtiger's hull armor characteristics in the frontal projection, although they seem impressive, in fact the VLD in the scaled-down view has 233 millimeters of armor. This can be done by all classmates, and the lower frontal part with a thickness of 156 millimeters helpfully takes damage even from sevens, that is, in most cases it is better to hide the body.

The frontal part of the wheelhouse is protected much more seriously; even with almost complete absence of inclination, the German Jagdtiger tank can boast of a 259-mm armor plate. This figure suggests that we can tank many of our classmates, but top-end self-propelled guns, as well as anyone who charges gold, will be able to easily cause damage to us. There are no complaints about the large gun mantlet; it is truly incredibly durable.
As for the side projection, there is nothing particularly surprising here. Anyone who drives in from the side can easily knock out hit points from the Jagdtiger WoT tank destroyer; when artillery hits the side, it often causes full damage and you can withstand “blows” only by turning the hull strongly and setting the side at an acute angle, but this must be done confidently and verified.

It’s impossible not to draw your attention to the fact that the Jagdtiger tank has truly barn-sized dimensions. Of course, our camouflage suffers from this, and it’s not easy to hide from incoming damage behind every cover, especially from artillery cases.

Of course, for relatively powerful armor and huge dimensions, we pay in full with mobility. The maximum speed of Jagdtiger World of Tanks is not bad, but due to the terribly low ratio of horsepower per ton of weight, we accelerate to the maximum only when descending a hill, and maneuverability is so puny that a heavy tank with average mobility can spin us.
First of all, the Jagdtiger gun has a powerful alpha strike, but even more pleasing is the fast reload speed, thanks to which the DPM exceeds all expectations, even without taking into account perks and equipment we have the ability to inflict almost 3000 units of damage per minute.

You will also be incredibly pleased with the penetration indicators, because with a standard armor-piercing shell, the Jagdtiger World of Tanks tank destroyer can cause damage to almost everyone, especially if you target vulnerable areas. As for the monstrous sub-calibers, you also need to have them with you, for example, to pierce a strong E 100 turret head-on.

It makes your soul even warmer to realize how accurate our top gun is. The Jagdtiger tank is an excellent sniper thanks to its excellent dispersion over one hundred meters, as well as fast aiming. Of course, the stabilization lets us down somewhat, but it’s not as bad as some.
