If you want to stand out in interior design and create something fresh and new, something that no one else has seen before--then you need to start seeing things differently. Pinterest is not enough my love! Do you think Kelly Wearstler is looking there to get ideas for her next incredible hotel design? No, she is drawing out her imagination, and you can do the same, but first, you must begin to train your eye to see the little things that most people never see.

In this episode, I want to share with you a few techniques to train your eye to identify beauty and become more sensitive to symmetry, balance, light, color, movement, and all those little nuances that make something truly special. When you look at the world differently, you can then begin to create unique and different spaces in interior design.

ABOUT ME:
Hey I'm Christina DiStefano! I am sort of a jack-of-all-trades: artist, sales director for a top NYC real estate development company, certified life coach, yoga instructor, Reiki practitioner, artist (I'm a painter), businesswoman--and now I'm taking on Interior Design via a certification (I'm starting an Interior Design firm in 2024 lovingly called Casa Serenità Interiors. Oh and did I mention I'm leading the renovation of our country home (inside and out)?!

I believe that home is a sacred place that we nurture, and in return, it nurtures us. That being said, my design process is focused on creating a sanctuary, a place of serenity that truly feels like home.
