Over the past 7 years, from a skinny PhD student with 2-3 jobs, a part-time blogger, to a mother in her 30s, no longer skinny but still doing research, teaching and maintaining multi-channel creativity, I only have a single "secret weapon" to optimize every aspect of my life. That is the MINIMALIST mindset.
But why a "secret"? Because even though I have written and talked a lot about the minimalist lifestyle, I realize that most people still think minimalism is about getting rid of the pants, shirt, cleaning the house... but few people can fathom the power of minimalism if they apply this mindset to all aspects of their life. This is what I call “holistic minimalism”
