Pinstripes of the Past: From 1988 to 2010, lifelong New Yorker and Yankees fan Freddy Schuman attended every Yankees home game. He brought a frying pan with a hand-painted shamrock on its back side to each game, allowing other Yankees fans to hit the pan with a spoon. The sound was heard throughout the stadium and even on the Yankees broadcasts, bringing excitement to those at the game and to those at home, too.
