We encountered a number of unexpected things on our way to our first snow camp with our caravan. The bottom of our 7.5-ton Unimog vehicle was completely buried in snow. A grader attempted to pull us out of the snow, but it was unsuccessful. We tried to save our caravan by digging beneath it with a shovel. This was the end of our first snow camping journey.
