This video shows the do it yourself installation of HomeLink in my 2023 Tesla Model 3 RWD. I hated how my new $45k car didn't have HomeLink installed. It is a $350 option from Tesla. I was doing some research online and found out some people would install the HomeLink module their selves. I found that my year Tesla uses HomeLink module 1114984-00-B. I found a new one on Ebay for about $150 shipped. Please do your research online to see which module you will need for your year and model Tesla.
This is the first time that I have installed one of these HomeLink modules. You are seeing me figure it out as we go. I have had this installed in my car for about 7 months with no issues at all. I highly recommend installing this if you think you have the basic skills to do it.
