Julie Fuchs performs Susanna's aria, "Deh vieni, non tardar," from Mozart's "Le nozze di Figaro" at the Festival d'Aix-en-Provence.

Julie's previous performances of the role for which she have been acclaimed as “stellar...both vocally and as an actress” (Bachtrack). This new production (a co-production with Teatro Real Madrid) was directed by Lotte de Beer with scenic design by Rae Smith. Thomas Hengelbrock conducted the Balthasar Neumann Ensemble with a cast that includes Gyula Orendt as Count Almaviva, Jacquelyn Wagner as the Countess Almaviva, Andrè Schuen as Figaro, Lea Desandre as Cherubino, and Maurizio Muraro as Doctor Bartolo.
