The Legend of Bruce Lee - S1 E1 - Full Martial Arts TV Show

Bruce Lee, a student from an exclusive school, is to attend a Cha Cha Cha contest for Hong Kong middle school students on behalf of his school. He tries all means soft and hard and finally persuades his elder sister to lend him her British BSA bicycle. At seeing his showing off, Blair, a British student, is angry and calls him “the sick man of East Asia”. Bruce Lee is furious and wants to have a fight with him but is stopped by their British teacher, Ingrid, who actually shares the same contempt with her student for Chinese people. Being insulted and out of fury, Bruce and his partner, Xiaoman Qin perform a perfect dance full of wild passion and win the championship by defeating their opponent Blair and Jones. In a shameful rage, Blair gathers several other British students to start a fight with Bruce Lee. Bruce is no match for them and his bike is also out of shape during the fight.

Bruce refuses to give in; he invents a series of attacking moves and then gets back at Blair. Seeing that Blair has been injured, Ingrid sends for Hoi-Chuen Lee, the father of Bruce, to the school and tells him to his face that his son is a punk. Being insulted, he goes back home and beats Bruce hardly. Bruce can’t help it anymore and yells out what has been in his mind for several days, telling his father that he can’t bear to hear others call him the sick man of East Asia. The father falls into silence.
