The Outer Harbour of A Coruña was the chosen location for the manufacturing of 22 large concrete caissons for the enlargement of the Port of Aberdeen. The Dragados group chose the Port of "Punta Langosteira" for this operation due to its magnificent conditions in terms of draughts, surfaces and know-how. For almost a year, Punta Langosteira hosted the whole complex process of manufacturing the blocks, from the formwork through to the reinforcement and concreting. The project created one hundred jobs in the Outer Harbour of A Coruña.
