The sport of girls Flag Football is emerging as a big deal in the high school sports scene. Florida arguably has produced the best flag football players in the country. In this matchup, Godby is known in the state as a powerhouse; ranked #2 in Class 1A prior to this game and clinched a FHSAA State Semifinal bid 2 times in a 4-year span. Lincoln this season has been flying under the radar, beating #1-ranked Robinson earlier this month. Several miscues from Godby gave Lincoln a 7-0 win and the district title.
