In my opinion, the Wii U was not a complete failure. Despite it's terrible commercial failure, I feel like in the long run, the Wii U was important for Nintendo.


The Wii U helped with the creation of the Switch, many Wii U games were able to be ported onto the Switch and the Wii U taught Nintendo the important lesson of marketing well.
