The Redwing Blackbirds are back, and they are singing out their songs, loudly! The call of the Redwing Blackbird is a favorite among birding and outdoor enthusiasts. I simply love the song of these birds. But, their jet black bodies, red and yellow shoulders and abundance, makes these birds a striking and very welcome precursor to spring and warm weather. Now, in a light hearted, humorous way, I can't help but to suggest they are show-offs with a bit of an ego. In reality, it's just me having fun. These are amazing, migratory birds that swarm the wetlands, ponds, and lakes with impressive numbers. #birds #nature #animals
