बाबा सिद्दीकी की गोली मारकर हत्या कर दी गई. इस मामले को लेकर सियासत गरमाई हुई है. उनकी सुरक्षा को लेकर कई नेता सवाल उठा रहे हैं. कुछ नेताओं का कहना है कि बाबा को Y कैटेगरी की सुरक्षा दी गई थी. वहीं मीडिया रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक बाबा के साथ सिर्फ 3 पुलिसकर्मी तैनात थे. लोगों के मन में सवाल ये भी है कि बाबा सिद्दीकी को जब Y कैटेगरी की सिक्योरिटी मिली हुई थी फिर भी उनकी हत्या कर दी गई. तो आम लोगों के लिए ये खतरे की घंटी ही समझी जाए. बाबा सिद्दीकी की हत्या के बाद विपक्ष के तमाम नेताओं ने भी यही सवाल उठाए हैं. लोकसभा में विपक्ष के नेता राहुल गांधी से लेकर NCP चीफ शरद पवार ने भी महाराष्ट्र की सुरक्षा व्यवस्था पर चिंता जाहिर की है.
