Other than a few lights on, this store has had no signs of life since its closure in 2018 when the company filed for bankruptcy and shuttered all their stores. Since then The Bon Ton became an online retailer after selling the rights and trademark to their name to another company. At the time of Bon Ton's bankruptcy filing, they were $1 billion in debt.

Several stores were eventually renovated and repurposed hosting other retailers and more. Others, like this one, were left completely vacant and abandoned. Why the lights are on is questionable. Who pays the electric bill?
