An important milestone was once again set in the history of the Philippine Institute of Cyber Security Professionals (PICSPro) with the successful culmination of the Vulnerability Management and Assessment Training of the PICSPro Certified Cyber Security Professional Program (CCSPP) Batch 02-2024.

The student-trainees were subjected to a two-day intensive virtual instruction and laboratory exercises which centered on the different concepts that are involved in vulnerability assessment and management. Powered by Tenable, the trainees were able to gain a first-hand experience in identifying, evaluating, and reporting real time vulnerabilities by utilizing its tools and platform. Mr. Marlon Gino Gino, Security Engineer and Module Instructor for VA Management, effectively guided these protégées in understanding the concept behind this vital cybersecurity skill despite the challenge of having a diverse set of students and the limited simulated interaction.
