The winner of the most iconic pigeon race in the world circuit - Barcelona Marathon Long Distance - was, in 2020, Alin Karscu. Alin is a pigeon fancier born and educated in Romania, who 4 years ago moved to Germany, settled there and his goal was to win a international long distance race. With his team of romanian pigeons, he started a new project in Germany which in 2020 was rewarded with this huge prize and he has joined the select "Hall of Fame" of Barcelona Winners. The hen, female, is from the pigeon lines of Menne und Tochter, Emiel Materne, Michel Desbuquois, most of them with strong results in the Barcelona race.
