Loneliness in Thailand as a single man. I realised this morning when I woke up, I've wallowed in my misery long enough. It's time to get moving.

I need to rekindle those old friendships that I had so this morning I decided I'd come back to my original condo - View Talay 1 in Jomtien, to see the guys that used to cook me breakfast.

Danny's off to Koh Lan today so I end up helping him drop some keys off to a new Russian long term tenant in one of Danny's Jomtien Beach condos. As I do battle with the expat loneliness syndrome I find the universe conspiring to help me move forward. A good friend from Australia, Ray unexpectedly arrived in Thailand to stay in Pattaya for a month. So I met him at Soi Welcome and went for a ride to Lung Sawai 2 fishing village in south Jomtien. As Ray's doing the old digital nomad thing for a few weeks I thought i'd show him a secluded private beach spot he can work at online on his laptop. We rode to NaJomtien to visit Surf Beach Cafe.

While there we stumble upon a new Pattaya party destination - ALEXA Beach Club.
