I would use the sound queue of him dashing to know when to switch directions. I would try and move my mouse to a top corner and then move it down to try and hit it. I forgot to do that a lot of the time due to stress. Good news is once you hit it more than once you can trace it via sound and that it will only dash up and down really. this was my 3rd attempt.
