There's no doubt external monitors can be useful for filmmakers. Having the ability to check exposure and use tools like false colors on a larger display can help you get the perfect shot but on a mirrorless or compact camera, I have a problem with every monitor out today including the Atomos Ninja V and Hollyland Mars M1. They can't control the camera settings or touch to focus.
