Lisa Gade reviews Wacom’s first “affordable” 16” pen display, released in early 2018. The Cintiq 16 is $649 and it uses the same Wacom EMR technology and battery-less Pro Pen 2 with 8,192 pressure levels and tilt as the Cintiq Pro models. The pen monitor has a full HD 1920 x 1080 IPS display with near full sRGB coverage, virtually no parallax, silent operation and wide compatibility with art, 3D and photo editing programs that use Windows Ink and WinTab- Photoshop CC, Corel Painter, Adobe Illustrator, ZBrush, Clip Studio Paint and many more. This is Wacom’s answer to 16” pen displays from Huion, Ugee and XP-Pen for hobbyists and creators on a budget. It's compatible with Windows and Mac.
