সারসংক্ষেপ : বাংলাদেশের আবহাওয়ায়ও উন্নত জাতের খেজুর চাষ সম্ভব। কয়েক বছর আগে থেকেই এ দেশে খেজুর চাষ শুরু করেছেন কয়েকজন চাষি। এ ক্ষেত্রে তাঁরা অনেকটা সফলও হয়েছেন। লাভজনক হওয়ায় বর্তমানে অনেকেই ঝুঁকছেন খেজুর চাষের দিকে। গাজীপুরের পিরুজালী ইউনিয়নের নজরুল ইসলাম বাদল আজ খেজুর চাষে সফল বর্তমানে তাঁর ১৪টি গাছে খেজুর আছে।
