Here is a nice ride aboard a Halifax Transit bus on the 10 Route: Dalhousie in the Dalhousie direction. The bus ride is aboard a Nova Bus LFS articulated bus. The bus registration number is 722.

The bus route started in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia - just to the relative east of Halifax, Nova Scotia across the Halifax Harbour - at the Halifax Transit Bridge Terminal. The bus then goes across the Macdonald Bridge into Halifax and goes through the city core.

I really enjoyed the bus ride and the Halifax Transit experience in general. The bus was relatively clean, the ride was smooth and the computer generated voice was different. The seats are a beautiful colour and seem to be more comfortable than the STM seats on Montreal articulated buses.

I would say the buses are more similar to STL buses in Laval or RTL buses in the South Shore of Montreal.

I also like the livery and colours of the buses.

The only thing I did not like is the fact that you can not bring any food or drink onboard. I find this rule to be a too strict and it's the first time I ever heard of a transit agency using this rule. The only positive note related to this is that the buses seem to be clean, I assume partly attributed to this rule.

The bus ride was also very scenic and offered a great view of the Halifax city center.

This video was filmed on Friday, March 24, 2023 at around 2:30 PM Atlantic Time (1:30 PM Eastern) during my approximate 24 hour trip to Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Thanks for watching!
