here we have a way of creating a reasonably realistic gun tackle without using blocks or cluttering the area up to much.. the idea is to give the impression of full gun tackle whilst maintaining nice tight lines etc on deck. when working with gun tack at this scale it's extremely difficult to have tidy tackle unless your very skilled at it. its almost impossible to have nice tight lines and sometimes becomes overly cluttered and messy.. this method enables you to give the impression of full gun tackle without worrying about the above issues. it will give you both the inner and outer haul lines as well as the breach lines all whilst maintaining nice, tight and tidy lines.
