Foam board is a really cheap way to build miniature houses, but I don't have access to great options for foam, and what I can get is hard to work with. So instead I use SAND!

Some of the examples I have used XPS Bricks and Egg carton bricks.

These houses look great on the table and are super cheap and easy to make. If you want to fill your town scenes with some more town these are a great way to get into it
