We had a wonderful turnout for our AAPS Candidate forum. Special thanks to AASPIRE, co-emcee Stacy Ebron, timekeeper Sarah Saylor, chat moderators Susannah Keller and Jordan Else, and our many volunteers who asked questions, including 11th grader Turo, caregiver Pat Davis, and AAPS teacher Kaitlyn Solar.

As a reminder, AAPS has 3 open seats for 4-year terms. There are 6 candidates running (including 1 incumbent) and all were present for our forum. There is an incumbent running uncontested for a “partial term” that ends 12/31/26. He was unable to make the forum.

We talked about the importance of 31a “at risk funds.” See how a fully funded Opportunity Index would impact Ann Arbor. https://opportunityforallmi.org/oppor...
