First-year College of Medicine medical students received their first white medical coats on July 28, 2017 at the annual White Coat Ceremony. This year marks Penn State College of Medicine’s 50th entering medical student class. This ceremony for the class of 2021 symbolized the entrance of the students into the medical profession as student physicians. After the distribution of white coats, the students recited an Oath of Student Professionalism, which they wrote together in the days leading up to the ceremony.
