I personally think that party games, especially Mario Party, are underappreciated. Creating a consistently interesting and engaging party game experience is difficult, and I think that the games that do it well deserve more praise. Welcome to the first episode of Mark's Rec Room, where I will be examining party games and how they create a fun experience for everyone. I will be reviewing every Mario Party game, including the handhelds, to discuss how they attempt to create an interesting party game experience. Mario Party 1 is certainly an interesting, albeit rough entry in the series. In this video, we'll be reviewing Mario Party, rating & ranking all of the Mario Party minigames, and talking about all of the boards.
