23 year old country singer Hunter Wolkonowsk blew judges away with her American Idol audition of Rascal Flats Riot and earned the competition’s first-ever Platinum ticket in the process.
Hunter goes by the name Huntergirl and is from Winchester Tennessee. On her website, Huntergirl explains she began performing at her Grandfather’s church around the age of three and by the age of nine she had begun writing songs. At fourteen, Huntergirl began performing across the United States, and in 2014 she won the Texaco Country Showdown at just 15 years old. After graduating high school, Hunter moved to Nashville Tennessee, and soon found herself playing at downtown venues such as Tootsie’s, Rippy’s, Crazy Town, Luke Bryan’s, and HonkyTonk Central. While in Nashville, Hunter attended Middle Tennessee State University and earned her degree in Recording Industry and Music Business. She also won several songwriting contests including the Nashville Songwriter Association International songwriter contest in 2016 and 2017 and Nashville’s Nash Next competition that same year.

Now in the Top 24, it's up to viewers to determine if Huntergirl advances to the American Idol Top 20.
