This is an introduction video to the Inca Temple complex of Vilcashuaman Province in Ayacucho, Peru.
These temples and surrounding area were an administrative place that supposedly was in the geographic center of the Inca Empire. Built in the 15th Century for the Emperor Inca Pachacutec.
Fascinating place!
I hired a driver to get us to Vilcashuaman while staying in the city of Ayacucho. It's a long four hour drive through winding roads but totally worth it!
