👉🏼The Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project Phase II extends the North-South Metro Corridor of Phase I. It includes a mainline that runs from APMC to Motera, extending to Mahatma Mandir, and a branch line that starts at GNLU and ends at GIFT City. This project features an 8 km corridor with 8 stations, including the opening of a 15.4 km viaduct from Motera to Sector 1 and 6 stations. The total cost of the project is ₹3,284 crores.

👉🏼The 33.5 km journey from APMC to Gandhinagar Sector-1 will cost ₹35 , offering a much cheaper alternative to taxi or auto-rickshaw , which can cost over ₹400 for the same distance.

👉🏼The Phase 2 extension will cover a 21 km stretch from Motera to Gandhinagar, with a seprate corridor GIFT City, enhancing connectivity for residents, professionals, and students who daily up-down for college.
