With all the DNA information we have at our disposal, why should we care about the origins of our last names? I think it’s important to know because when people see our surnames, they make assumptions about our heritage. Today on the Vanntage Point we are going to take a look at 10 common southern Appalachian surnames to see if they have English origins.
